Club History

The High Desert Koi Fanciers club was established around 1995 with just a handful of folks, and we now boast a membership of over seventy-five members who meet on the first Saturday of each month at various members' homes.   We have members who reside in all areas of the Antelope Valley, California, as
well as other parts of California and Nevada.

Our purpose is to promote the education, enjoyment and support of others in their endeavors with pond and koi keeping.  Our members include novices as well as many experienced members who are eager to share their knowledge and expertise with others.  Very valuable information can be obtained by joining a koi club.  Our club not only offers an arena for exchanging information, but we also enjoy the socialization that goes along with making new friendships with folks who share this common interest as koi and pond hobbyists.
