SUMNER AVENUE WATER GARDENS HISTORY

 HOW IT ALL BEGAN

It all started in 1994 when a new neighbor moved in across the street.  He built a 150 gallon pond and then my neighbor next door to me built a 300 gallon pond.  I fell in love with the sights and sounds and I created a 300 gallon pond.  Well, of course, that pond was not big enough so I built a 1300 gallon pond.  I loved this hobby so much that I wanted to continue being involved, creating, breeding …..you name it.  I joined the High Desert Koi Fanciers club, and soon became president.  That wasn’t enough.  I wanted to build, create, and help other koi/pond enthusiasts.  My neighbor suggested I start my own business.  I gave it much thought and Sumner Avenue Water Gardens was born on October 15, 1996.

As of today,  this is a hobby business for the love of koi and ponds.  My mission statement is to help any and all involved with this hobby to enjoy as they should with minimum maintenance and care needed.  For those of you that have used my talents I thank you for allowing me to enjoy my hobby.  For those of you interested, I assure you complete satisfaction.
